The Rickenpass has always been the direct connection between the Zürich region and the Toggenburg as well as St. Gallen. Thus, this pass is the most direct route between central and eastern Switzerland. Already in the beginning of the 20th century a railway tunnel between Uznach and Wattwil was built, which emphasises the importance of this route.

Our location in the center of the village of Ricken SG allows us to optimally cover the regions upper Lake Zürich, Toggenburg, Zürich and St. Gallen.
